A Sad Goodbye




Donald Joseph Floyd

1935 - 2008

Las Vegas, Nevada

Don Floyd, age 72, passed away peacefully July 19, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.He was born Aug. 2, 1935 in Raton, New Mexico to Merritt C. and Audrey E. Curran Floyd. He married Catherine Robb Floyd March 17, 1977 in Salt Lake City Utah. Don is survived by his wife Cathy of Las Vegas, Nevada; and children: Todd and Christie Cannon Floyd of Herriman, Utah; Michael and Amanda Davis Floyd of Overland Park, Kansas; and four grandsons. He is also survived by his brother Merritt C. Floyd, brother Phillip Floyd, sister Thelma Floyd Elliot and children Todd Floyd and Lisa Floyd from a previous marriage. He was preceded in death by both parents. Graveside services will be held Wed., July 23, 2008 at 12 Noon at Larkin Susnset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah where friends may call from 11-11:45 prior to services.
