Last week we went to San Diego and met Mike's mom there. Everyone had a wonderful time. The boys (including Mike) loved playing on the beach, looking for seashells, and digging for sand crabs.
George and Henry loved to chase the waves in and then run away from them. Henry thought he could stop the waves by throwing sand at them and shooting them with his smash ball paddle. (Everything is a gun when you are a three year old boy).
We took the boys to the San Diego Zoo. I think their favorite part was the tour because they were finally able to sit down. George asked if we could ride the double decker bus from the moment we got there. Finally I told him that if I heard him say "bus" one more time, he wouldn't ever get to ride on it. Soon George was asking if it was time for the "B-word".
We spent two days at Sea World. George and Henry got to feed dolphins, pet sting rays, hold star fish and get soaking wet durring the dolphin show with Mike. Grandma and I were smart enough to sit outside of the soak zone.

For Mother's Day we had brunch at the Del. It was amazing. I especially loved not having to cook or do any dishes. The boys loved it too. George ate two omlets and a plate full of King Crab legs, giant shrimp, strawberries and cherries. I couldn't get him to try an oyster on the half shell. He said they smelled funny. Henry focused on the crab and shrimp. 
It was slightly wild with the three boys at the buffet, but they did pretty well.
Mike's mom loved spending time with her grandsons, and they loved being with her.

Oh, I love the Del. We went there on a family vacation before the twins and it was so fun. What a wonderful Mother's Day. It looks like you had a great time in San Diego, and your boys are so handsome!
Look how long your hair is!
Why don't you guys plan a little trip to SF, or even better, right to our house in Napa Valley.

What a great trip! The boys are getting so big. I love the pic of George and Henry on the rock. Jackson is also our sunglass kid. Your hair is getting really long. Looks like you are all doing well.

It cracks me up to see all the pictures of the boys because you can tell it is just about killing them to try to hold still. You have a fun bunch, I am glad you got a vacation together! Hope things are going well for you guys! One more year almost done--Yeah!
